RSM question

I recently acquired an RSM from ebay and I'm stuck on enabling IP routing on the router.

  1. I entered the following command:

Router(config)#ip routing

  1. and I get an error message:

Router(boot)(config)#ip routing ^ % Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

  1. IP command help:

  1. I think if the routing function is on this software release it should have been displayed above, correct? Or does this mean that I have an older software version? Router print out on the SHOW VERSION command:

I JUST solve my problem.

The Cisco IOS on the bootflash: is old, I just copied another image from a PCMCIA card and it had the latest IOS image and it worked.
