We have 2 switches on the inside of the PIX and 2 switches on the outside of the PIX.
I understand that the PIX's can fail and the failover moves the IP/MAC so the switches still see default gateways etc, but what if the switch fails that the primary PIX is connected to.
How do I create SWITCH redundancy. I know I can connect Active and Standby PIX's to each switch but as the PIX has not failed when a switch fails then why would the PIX move its IP etc.
The PIX's are Active/Standby.
Cannout use Active/Active but is that the only solution?
