I have 2 525s in A/S Failover configuration. On standby 525, one of the interfaces is not connected to anything but has an IP and has a matching interface on the Active 525. The Active 525 has the corresponding interface directly connected to a server - thru xover cable.
I need to install a switch to connect both 525s
Question is - if I "shutdown" the interface on the Active 525 - to connect both 525s to switch - will this cause a failover (or an attempted failover) ?
