What the approximate maximum number of DLCIs that can be handled by a 1721? Ignore bandwid
th issue, I'm concerned by the limit that may be a result of IOS, or if the memory is maximized.
All of the connnections are 56K dds Frame relay, and none move more than 1kbps. The question is how many DLCI can I map into a single (T1) port or if I use both (T1) ports....
I remember some years ago on a 7500, running IOS 11, that the max number was 1024 with a practical number of DLCI for aDSL circuits maxing out bandwidth at about 800....
Guesstimates are ok too!
