Let two objects point to the same destination/address

hi,

on a ASA 5520 I want to create a forwarding rule: there exists already a rule from outside 1.2.3.4 on the server 192.168.0.1 in the DMZ.

Now, another external address, lets say 1.2.3.55, has to be forwarded to the server 192.168.0.1 in the DMZ; I created the object srv_1.2.3.55, but when i want to add a static nat rule to 192.168.0.1, the asa is refuse=EDng it with a message "object already exists".

how is it possible to forward two addresses to the same serveraddress?

thanx in advance!

Why can't you use the same external address? Why must it be two different external addresses?

They must be distinguished by port number(s). Otherwise, when a packet from 192.168.0.1 wants to go out, the ASA would not know which IP address to use.
