I'm using SNMP to monitor the network of our company and I'm facing a problem than I can't find a solution so I would like your help.
The problem that I face is that at snmp collections through NNM or mrtg for monitoring CPU usage and Temperature on devices like 6509, 6513 or
12000 that have many cards and proccessor boards, every time they're reloaded the instances of those card changes so I have to keep noticing changes like this and then find the new ones.
For interfaces I use the "snmp ifindex persist" command that creates a file with the right instances for each interface, so it doesn't change.
SO is there something similar for keeping the same instances at my devices.
