We have a fleet of mobile unit with one 3250 cisco router per unit. Behind the router are a series of computers that needs to be protected by the router. The mobile units will be connected physically to a virtual private network provided by a telephone company. Mobile unit will connecting and disconnecting from these ports at unpredictable time. Out of 50 possible units, we do not know which 20 units will be used/connected.
We need the following feature: multicast encryption firewall QoS
Because GETVPN is not available on our router, we chose to use DMVPN.
Can you see any potential problem with that selection? Do you have any other suggestion?
