Hi folks,
forget security and all other stuff, I'm simplifying the network here to keep it simple to understand...
I have a PIX501, on the inside is 192.168.0.0, on the outside is
193.194.193.192 (public IP). I have 1 client on the inside 192.168.0.1 which is nat'd also with the address 193.194.193.193. I want to be able from the inside to connect to 193.194.193.193, can I do it? Or do I always have to use 192.168.0.1. You see the issue here is that I have software which is licensed to 193.194.193.193 and it won't let me use it if I connect to 192.168.0.1 so I always have to use an alternative route to the internet, like my broadband or something and this is quite a pain.
cheers Dave
