Fires and SmartNet contracts

Anyone have any experience with a fire in their data center? We are dealing with small UPS fire and are trying to get Cisco's position on cleaning protocols for the exposed equipment. The fire was minor, as were the deposits left on the equipment but if the cleaning is not done to Cisco's protocol then the Smartnet contracts become void.

We are getting conflict information from Cisco, the Reseller, and other vendors. Does anyone have any experience with this gray area?

let the insurance company figure it out, any damage that is not maintainable on the contract let them replace it.
