EIGRP: Default Route is not propagating

Jul 17, 2006 3 Replies

Hub and Spoke network.

3700 hubFrame Relay

Sites are all 1721 Stub mode

I have a route map in a router pointing to my default gateway. I see the route propogated to the 3700 using "Sh ip eigrp top 0.0.0.0

0.0.0.0, however it does not make it to the remote sites. All other routes are distributed to EIGRP.

Any ideas?

There are no acl's involved, and otherwise EIGRP is working normally.

  1. Does the 3700 install default into the RIB ( main routing table) from the EIGRP topo table?
  2. Which IOS version is running on 3700?
