DHCP with ASA5500's and IDS4215's

Does anyone know the pros and cons of moving from Static ip to DHCP when using the ASA 5500 security Appliance and the IDS4215 with full Trend Micro Anti-X.

I am trying to see if anything states that DHCP is not suitable for this enviroment, and static should be used to Vica-Versa.

As the ASA only logs IP addresses moving to DHCP seems to blow the audit trail unless you keep a history of the DHCP leases and ASA logs. Same applies to the Anti-X on the ASA?

Guidance/Advice/Documentation greatly appreciated. Gary
