Ciscoworks LMS 2.5

We have a new LMS 2.5 install on Windows 2003 and recently did a restore after cleaning out database tables. It has taken 2 weeks and the restore is still not done. We are limping on network monitoring per a opensource tool. Has anyone heard of this before? What could be done to prevent this from happening again? Any good resources on LMS

2.5 around? They are scarce.
