We have clustered servers attached to a Cisco CSS 11501. when a request comes in the switch will sent the request to any web server. During that request, the webpage may call a public webservice and get a response. Does the web service response go through the switch? Does the switch know what server had originally made the web service call to send it the response? Is it the same if the web page is using window sockets to call to a public server?
