ACS - Reconfigure ACE Server config.

Hi all,

Our organisation has an ACS on NT installation, and it has been configured (a L-O-N-G time ago) to use SecurID for authenticating users. It is believed that an ACE Agent installation resides on the ACS server. There are 2 other/independant ACE servers - primary and secondary. Neither ACE server resides on the same machine as the ACS server installation.

Now, we need to change the name/IP of the Secondary ACE server that the ACS/ACE Agent points to. We have little (immediate) access to the full administation of the ACS application, or the NT box it resides upon....

Any ideas where to look/how to go about changing the configuration of the ACE Agent/ACS to point to a differnet secondary ACE server....?? (Then we might at least know which IT support team to go to - those administering the NT machine at OS level, or those administering the ACS server app..).

thanks,

You will have to ask the ACS admin team to change the External Database settings.

In External Database -> Database Configuration select the type of Database (in some ACS it would be Radius Token Server) and then the Database itself. There you can change the IP address for the ACE.
