access list

hi all can any body tell me how can i block rip routing update through access list

Without updates, RIP is useless, so I'm guessing you don't want the RIP routes to appear in your routing table. Issue the "no router rip" command in configuration mode to disable RIP.

"passive-interface" may also work for you depending on what your trying to do...

i want to block 192.168.2.0 how it is possible to deny thses update throughaccess list. anyway thanks for ur reply
