Ability to use both diverse links

Mar 14, 2005 1 Replies

I have a location that has two routers connected by a common lan segment that has two diverse wan links. Both of these connect to a main hub site that has the same setup. How can I use both links for routing and failover. I was thinking of tagging the routes such that internet traffic traverses one link and all other traffic traverses the other link. This would be accomplished using route tags and route maps. Is there a better way to do this? I am open to suggestions. The IGP is OSPF.

Thanks,

Take a look at Global Load balancing Protocol (GLBP)
