Just got my (2) 2501s and (2) 2950s. What should I do to check to make sure everything is working? I can log into all devices fine, and everything seems to load fine. The 2501s both have 16mb main memory and 16mb system flash. One has
Plug 'em together ! Get yourself a back to back DTE DCE cable for the serial interfaces on the
2501's. In the meantime, plug the ethernet interfaces into the 2950's and do a "show interface" and see if the ethernet interfaces come up. You may need to do a "no shut" if they have been disabled.Have something to add? Share your thoughts — no account required.
