I am looking to get a basic understanding of cisco ios and currently all the routers in use at work for various site > site operations are the cisco 837 adsl routers.
I have cable dsl at home with Telewest Blueyonder who supply a cable modem, which I currently connect to with a Linksys WRT54G.
The replacement for this appears to be the Cisco 831 router + wireless access point.
Also, the 851 appears to be replacing the 831 ...
So my question is, will the 831 or 851 cisco router give me a taster for the basics in ios?
Otherwise, a pointer to some relative info?
