Does anyone know of a good, thorough article/book/website about DOCSIS? I've gone through CableLab's specs (RFI) and it is difficult to follow.
Thanks!

Thanks!
The book "Digital Telephony Over Cable: The PacketCable Network" has a more specific concentration on PacketCable technology, and therefore I'm not sure how much of the focus is given to the innerworkings of DOCSIS itself.
Also, the Amazon search for DOCSIS is something I've already tried, but haven't been able to find any books with a specific enough focus on the standard, but rather (maybe like the book mentioned above) use a broad overview of DOCSIS as a supporting factor to their focus.
I'm looking for a book/article/website whose subject is just DOCSIS simply for IP traffic and provides an explanation with a certain flow, unlike the CableLabs RFI which is written with so much detail that the flow is difficult to pickup.
Thanks for the suggestions though...
Any other suggestions?
You tried googling on variation of DOCSIS? Like DOCSIS protocol, or "white paper"?
or DOCSIS primer
"DOCSIS primer" did it. GREAT!
THANKS!!!
