Copy and paste a clipboard file?

Apr 02, 2005 8 Replies

I want to copy and paste a random generated WEP/WPA file from the clipboard to my settings on the desktop and the laptop.

But even though I see the generated file on the clipboard, I can not save it in Save AS to a document or text file. And as long as I cannot do that, I cannot copy and past.

How do I proceed?

In this group, the first troubleshooting step is usually to reboot your cable modem.

By telling us what you're working with.

I liked Bill's response better! LOL

CIAO!

If it is in the clipboard, open notepad, control-v to paste. Save notepad.txt file.

Q

Reboot? What in the world can that do???

Windows XP,SP#2, WEP/WPA key Generator Clipboard.

It was a gentle reminder that this is a cable modem group...:-)
