Hello everyone
I am attempting to find out what the maximum power limitations for wireless equipment (900/2400/5800) are here in NZ and how is it measured, ie output of the AP or total ERP from antenna.
If anyone can help it would be most appreciated.

I am not sure about the regulations in NZ, but the max radiated power is usually the ERP from the antenna. So if you have a high gain antenna, you would have to reduce the power out of the radio to keep it within the allowed ERP, or use a lower gain antenna
