Can't get online after road trip

After connecting to wireless networks at a hotel and office and having an admin help me get on to the office wireless, I can't get on any of my usual wireless networks back home. I'm assigned an IP, can ping it fine. DHCP is enabled, good signal strength. Have XP SP2. tried the wireless repair function but no luck. restarted everything no luck.

Also I cannot get online even when hard wired to the router.

The only thing odd I see is that in the lower left, it now always tries to connect to 172.16.10.9 which I never saw before. I think it must have to do with that.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Here is the solution!: Go to Tools -> Internet Options-> Connections Tab -> LAN Settings -> Uncheck the "Use a proxy server for your LAN"

That is what the admin apparently checked to get me connected to his office, but it prevented me from getting online anywhere else after that.

Hope this helps someone else.
