Honeywell Rapid Eye v8-dsp

I am receiving an "Internal System Failure" message. I thought at first, it was a overheating issue as is the case with another unit. I powered down the unit and unplugged it for several hours. After reboot, it is still failing. The other unit had a bad exhaust fan, which is not the case with this unit. Any ideas, would be greatly appreciated.
