UPB Computer Interface ASCI Message Format?

I wish to send commands to a Simply Automated UMC-DB9-W UPB Computer Interface from a Linux based computer.

Does anyone know of a source information about the serial ASCII message format that is sent to and from the UMC-DB9-W UPB Computer Interface ?

I think that's just a repackaged and rebranded version of the PCS UPB PIM. You can find documentation on the PCS Pulseworx web page.

Thanks dave - that was a good suggestion. At the pcslighting site I also found a little interactive wizard that walks one through the creation of the various fields of a command, then displays the text string so that it may be sent by whatever equipment one is using:
