Ignore authors? (non-Cisco)

Apologies for the non-Cisco post, but I post most on here and can't find a more appropriate Group.

Can someone tell me how to ignore certain authors?

Depends on your news reader. a kill-file is the standard way. It is called a blocked sender list in OE.

I can't find anything to do with blocked senders though.

Can you recommend a news reader that uses this?
