This is what I wrote to LinkSys support:
I bought the WRE54G recently to extend my WRT54G (latest firmware as of 8/8/05) wireless network in my home. It's throughput is extremely slow when repeating primarily the download speed which is much slower than the upload speed when WPA is enabled. I see nothing on your website that addresses this problem though it has been discussed on the Net. Should I return the the WRE54G to point of purchase? <
Is there anything I can do to fix this problem or should I return the WRE54G?
