I would suggest you use only a hex wep key in both devices, not ascii keys. For 64 bit wep, use a key length of 10 hex or for 128 use a key of 26.

Hello,
I have a linksys router, connected to a pc with linksys PCI card. Works fine. Now connecting my laptop with a SWEEX 11G card. All works fine without WEP. As soon as I use WEP my laptop is not connected anymore.
Who has an answer to this?
Thanks in advance,
Theo
Hi,
I seem to have the same problem. I use a sweex 11G card and a linksys
AP. I tried two different AP's (both linksys) with 802.11b and one with
802.11G. Both have the mentioned problem.BUT.... When I place the sweex card into my other (Dell) laptop it
works fine?? Also when i use another (USB) wireless card it will work
on the first laptop.
Strange think I will get rid of the sweex card and get another....
unless anyone of you guys have a fix to this problem.
