All I did was disable DHCP on the BEFW11S4 v1 router, set the device IP to
192.168.111.2, took the router out of *gateway* and put it into *router* mode, configured the router to use static the IP set-up pointing to the WG at 192.168.111.1 -- not using DHCP setup that would be to obtain IP from the WG for the router, and connected it to a LAN port on my WG Firebox III SOHO 6. I could access the Linksys router at 192.168.111.2 with the browser.
The Linksys just became a wire/wireless AP *switch*.
