Have an older 1 mb Orinoco ( Lucent) card. labelled as a WiLinx. driver works fine. cannot install the firmware update on the Proxim website. also no means of feedback of reception levels. any ideas on either.

There have been so many different resellers of the same cards from Orinoco... post the FCC ID and someone might recognize it. Sometimes, you can even get hits by doing a Google search for the FCC ID.
