Not able to get IP address on wired ports of DL-713P

I have a DL-713P which I have been using successfully for the last 4 years. I normally use the wireless connection, but yesterday tried to connect to one of the wired ports. I've done this in the past, including a couple of weeks ago. What I now get is a "limited connection" and a 169.x.x.x IP address. The lights on the router appear ok, with both green lights flashing on whichever port I hook the cable to.

I've tried different cables, turning off MAC address control, rebooting the router, powering it off and on, resetting it back to its original factory settings, and hooking up different PC's. So far no luck.

The wireless connections continue to work, so the DHCP server is working,

I like this router because of the built-in print server, so would like to find a way to get it working again.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with the DL-713P, but read:
