Linksys Wireless Monitor Crashes on Shutdown

Aug 24, 2006 1 Replies

I have a Linksys WMP54GS wireless card on two computer systems running Windows XP SP2. This card routinely will crash when the computer is shutdown. This in turn throws up a dialog box telling me that it crashed, and asking me to click OK. The shutdown hangs until you do this.

I am running the latest & greatest version of the monitor program. Anybody have any idea why it is doing this, and if there is a way to prevent this from happening?

Suggest you get rid of the Linksys utility and just use Windows XP to control your wireless.
