2 1/2 weeks mucking with wireless networking and NetGear equip't. I could set this stuff up in my sleep now. It wasn't the usb adapters (netGear MA111), but when I replaced the brand new router (MA814, b) with a Ma(?) 614 g, everything worked from the get go. Replaced the MA111 with the 54 Mbps version (same price). Of course you gotta get the gross settings right. Didn't have to muck with putting in IP address, gateway subnets, etc.
