Can somebody please help. I'm sure this is an easy problem to fix.
Problem:
A computer connects to a wireless network with a strong signal. Chat programs like MSN messenger work fine talking to people all over the world, but it won't allow explorer or firefox to connect to the internet.
If anyone can help with some advice I would be very grateful

Any particular operating system? Any particular computah?
Firefox 2.0.0.4: File -> uncheck "Work Offline" Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Network -> settings Check the "connect directly to internet"
IE7: Tools -> Intenet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings. If you do *NOT* have a proxy server, then uncheck everything.
