GigaFast WF712-AP Mini Wireless Access Point

I recently purchased a GigaFast WF712-AP Mini Wireless Access Point only to find out that what I need is not an access point but a Wireless to Ethernet Bridge for my PlayStation 2 . Is it possible to re-configure the GigaFast WF712-AP Mini Wireless Access Point to receive/send data to my wirless Link Sys I already have set up? This is probably a silly question, but I don't want to send data to my laptop I actually want to receive data from my wireless and connect to the PlayStation 2 using the RJ-45 LAN connection.

Or should I bite the bullet and by the Belkin Wireless to Ethernet Bridge

In order for that to work, the GigaFast WF712-AP would need to have a "client mode" that simulates a wireless client instead of an access point.

near as I can determine from the datasheet, it does NOT have such a mode and therefore cannot be used as a wireless client. Sorry.

Thanks for the reply.

The more I read the directions and the more tinkering that I did the more I realized that my "gut feeling" about the Access Point not working as a bridge was correct.
