"FAA Radio Switch Off"

After a year or so of flawless use, I'm getting "FAA Radio Switch Off" and "Speed 0.0 Mbps" indications in the taskbar status icon of a Senao NL-2511CD PLUS EXT2(SUPER) PC 802.11b card. (Intersil Prism 2.5 chipset)

Despite the error indication, the card still works, and configuration panel shows 100% signal and 11.0 Mbps thruput. Yet the taskbar status icon is "X"'d out and throws these errors.

Any ideas?

Not to my knowledge. This is on a Win2Ksp4 machine.

Turned out to be an 11g configuration applet running while an 11b card was installed.

Killed the 11g applet, and all is well.
