Look what I found (by accident as usual):
Microsoft BitTorrent Simulator. I haven't tried it yet, but it appears that it might be useful for testing (and breaking) routers that have problems with BitTorrent and other P2P applications that open hundreds of ports and have a voracious appetite for buffers.
