Does changing from gateway mode to router mode disable NAT?

I reconfigured one like that the other day at Linksys's instructions. It is my understanding that it does away with the NAT gateway. According to what the Linksys online folks said, it works with another Linksys router and the hosts plugged into it get their IP addresses from an adjacent Linksys router.

Go to their Website. They have online support available most of the time. You go into a 'chat' mode and discuss it with them.

That's one of the settings that turns the router into a switch is to disable DHCP and switch from a gateway mode to router mode making the router device a wire/wireless switch AP. So NAT is gone at that point.
