I have an RV016 which I am now setting up as PPTP Server. This is a feature made available with the most recent version of the firmware
2.0.3 So far I have been able to successfully authenticate and connect to the box from the internet on both OS X and Windows XP clients. The remote machine is assigned from an address from a range I provided of
192.168.x.230 - 234. The LAN address of the RV016 is 192.168.x.1. My issue is that I cannot route to or see any other machines (except the router)on my intranet which is the same subnet of 192.168.x.0 - 255.
Tech support from Linksys has been of no help whatsoever. Any help is appreciated.
