internal - external

If you have an external VoIP provider and a business of 6 offices, is there any reason to consider having an Internal VoIP system?

If you have more than one person in an office it is nice to keep the voip packets on your own local net. If we are talking about 6 one-person offices and the VOIP provider is relatively clueful I can't see much of an advantage to running the voip PBX yourself.

Its the same reasoning as Centrex versus your own PBX. At some point you can save money by having your own PBX
