I'm developing a fixed line phone which can send and receive SMS. This phone has to comply with German fixed line SMS specification.
In Germany, is it possible for user to send a concatenated message through one call? I mean if someone wrote a concatenated message which was composed of 3 sub-messages then how many calls are needed for him to send whole sub-messages to SM-SC(Short Message Service Center) ? One or Three ?
What about T-COM ?

The specs for the fixed-line SMS service are defined by ETSI in ES 201 912. It can be obtained, free of charge, from
There are diagrams at the back showing how the message is transfered - but they do not consider any cases with more than one message in a single connection. However in my experience implementations DO allow multiple messages, including the sections of a concatentade message, to be carried within one connection.
