I'm sorry to say that I don't know: Pat is able to answer the phone and can speak well, but he hasn't chosen to share any info about his prognosis or condition.
What little I know about it is what I infer from experience with my relatives who had CVE's: the first few days are critical, but after that, there's a long, tough recuperation.
I'll talk to Pat tomorrow, and I'll ask him if he wants to make any announcement.
