Hi folks.
Bill Horne has been wanting to step back from moderator duties for a while -- quite literally, to spend more time with his family. He asked me if I knew anyone willing and able to do so, and after determining the scope of the situation, we agreed that I could and would do it. Over the last month he has been introducing me to various folks, machines and processes.
That transition was supposed to happen at the end of this month, but it's happening now.
Bill's wife Susan informed me that Bill has had a stroke and is in the hospital. He is conscious and rational, so the prognosis is probably pretty good, but I don't know for certain yet. I wish him the best of all possible outcomes.
