Back when the COVID-19 pandemic began in the US, the carriers surprised us all by giving back to the people by allowing people to pay bills at a later date without terminating the service, adding extra data to capped plans so that people could stay in touch easier, among other things such as not charging late fees. Today is the day that the relief measures to 'Keep Americans Connected' are beginning to be pulled, though, with the carriers getting back to the task of making money.
