CenturyLink to lay off 51 at Hood River (Oregon) call center
CenturyLink plans to lay off 51 workers from its Hood River call center on Wasco Street, according to a Tuesday (May 14) filing with the state department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development.
Under the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, companies with more than 100 full-time employees are required to provide official notice 60 days before the date on which they plan to lay off more than 50 workers.
