Are you using an online fax service/

I think there are services which will carry a message from either email or a web page to a FAX machine which is connected to the PSTN, vice versa.

If you have used such a service, please post your remarks about it: the service you used, what it cost, how well (or poorly) it worked, the costs, and anything else a neophyte would need to know.

Thank you for your help.

I use Ring Central (ringcentral.com) for about $167/yr.

They give me a unique 800 number for receiving faxes, which they then e-mail to me. To send a FAX, I e-mail it as an attachment to an address based on the FAX number. Very, very few problems over the years.
