Anybody know anything about this company or product?
You mean other than it being junk?
Sure. It's useless crap.
C'mon now... I hear they have "rapid response" monitoring...
I think it's an OEM product from Loxxon. :^)
Sounds like it should be a name for a futuristic condom instead of an alarm box. Laser Shield could be one model up from the basic Virus Shield. Both models protect against the hazards of Internet Porn gone real life.
Thanks for the fast replies. I needed some fast info/ too lazy(busy) to do my own research and the topic came up in a sales pitch. Their website isnt too informative . Customer heard about it over a radio ad..."cant be all they great" someone within earshot said. again, thanks
Does anyone know of a shop and drop system? By that I mean a system that plops in the middle of whatever need protecting, detects and verifies intrusion and barks off via cell phone??? The only way to it is to disarm with a cell phone call...

You could make you own without much trouble. How large an area do you want to protect? What type of environment? You need to get a list of features that you want and want to pay for. Do you want it to be totally stand alone (no A/C power)? Sirens? Secondary means to arm and diarm. Audio verify or video verify signals? Control other items via relays?
The condom that pro-actively goes, where other men have gone before, seeking out strange new viruses never seen before. Batteries not included.
Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound?
Elk was showing something like that at the latest EHX in Long Beach in Nov. Prototype, not an official product yet, but has that kind of functionality.
Prototype, not an official product yet, but has that
They're partnering with an Australian company called NESS on this product.
The products is brand new but it's beyond prototype at this point. It's a stand alone unit with 2 RF keyfobs, built-in PIR and sounder. It retails for just under $300. There is a radio dialer (~$150 retail) from NESS. It should be ready for ordering shortly.
This is intended to protect construction sites and other places where a hard-wired alarm would be impractical. There are options such as a wireless motion detector and door transmitters. I'll have more details available on it shortly.
BTW, this unit is not armed/disarmed by cell phone. You use an RF keyfob like a car alarm to control it.
