Trying to local dl gemini p3200. while connecting 6 conductor cable from pci
2000 j3 to panel, the 6 pin cable turns hot, the keypad bliping and burns the fuse inside pci 2000. any idea will be accepted! thanks :-)
If you have changed the connecting cable wire you may have chosen the wrong type. I forget if it's a crossover or direct wire.
Just use a PCI mini.

I did it with pci mini and its original 6 wire cable but it cant connect...

If you have the correct 2 wire cable you can use it in your PCI 2000 as well. If you have the wrong cable you fry things as you already found out.
