Nortel Contivity VPN Spokes not communicating with each other

Hey,

We have a problem with two of our locations not being able to call each other via VoIP. In the process of troubleshooting, I realized that these locations cannot even ping one another over our VPN.

We have a contivity 600 in our corporate office which acts as the hub, and Contivity 1100's at each spoke location. These two are the only sites experiencing any problems and can each communicate with every site except each other. The hub can communicate with both, no problem.

It just doesn't make sense. The static routes are correct and enabled. If a spoke can access the hub, it should be able to access anywhere else on the VPN.

Any thoughts?

Mike

That's actually a setting. On the host contivity, make certain that branch office to branch office tunnels are enabled. I don't recall where that's set, but somewhere in the branch office profiles perhaps. Make certain the network in the profiles includes both branch offices as well, and do the same on your edge connections.

Got it. It was under the branch office profiles. The route to one site from the other was missing. Thanks alot.
