We have recently installed IP trunking between sites. We have a problem with it. It seems that the IP trunks do not sent the voice packets when it sends the information packets. When a call is placed from one site to the other the information of who is calling appears on the display at the far end but neither party can hear each other. We have to reset the IP trunk card at the far end to get the voice to work. Any ideas?

Check the codec settings at each end - they should be the same. Different codec settings can cause no or one way speech paths...

Looks like you are missing something. Did you sent all necessary information from OTM to the ITG-cards and wheren't there any errors ? Are all tn's on the ITG cards enabled ? looks like they get disabled and after the reset enabled again. How long does it work after the reset ? Is the problem in both directions ? Which version are you running in m1 and ITG-cards and do you have all patches installed ?
