I am trying to add XFER protocol to some existing software. XFER is obsolete - replaced years ago by AFT but I have run into an old switch that does not have AFT and the switch owner does not want to upgrade. I need to collect the AMA call records from the switch in batch mode - as part of an existing program.
I have looked through all the Nortel docs I have there is just no document to how this protocol works. 291-1001-524 has an overview, but no "nuts and bolts" of how the protocol works and what messages are exchanged between the switch and the collection software.
Anyone have any old XFER docs or know where I could find some?
I will gladly pay a reasonable cost for any help to get this working.
